Why Join the Townsville Orchid Society ?

You have newly acquired an orchid, perhaps as a potted flower, and would like to know more on how to care for the plant and have it flower for you next year;

  • You have seen orchids growing in the bush or other people's gardens, and would like to learn more about what this group of flowers have to offer;

  • You have been growing some orchids, but would like to learn more about how to grow them successfully;
  • You are already an orchid grower, but would like to become more serious and perhaps learn about breeding your own, or exhibiting your flowers;

  • You are an experienced orchid grower new to North Queensland or visiting, who would like to learn about how orchids are grown in North Queensland;

  • You have never grown orchids, but think that they might be fun and want to learn more about what types there are and if you could grow them.
